Assessing Your Organization’s Digital Maturity

In recent years more and more public sector organizations have been embracing the idea of “digital government”, including changing their practices and processes to include agile, user-centered, and open ways of working. There has been much progress since the early days of digital government, but assessing maturity as organizations adopt these modern digital practices has remained a stubborn challenge.

In this interactive workshop you will have the opportunity to learn about the work that Think Digital is undertaking to develop a made-in-Canada digital maturity assessment model tailor-made to fit the needs of the public sector. Think Digital CEO & Founder Ryan Androsoff, along with Trainer and Facilitator Meghan Hellstern, will be co-leading this session where they will share the beta version of their public sector digital maturity assessment model and provide a real-life case study from the Regional Municipality of York where they have been piloting this assessment model.

This interactive working session, facilitated by members of the Think Digital team, will also have you doing some hands-on work with this novel, multi-faceted framework for digital maturity. The goal will be understanding why evaluating digital maturity is important as well as equipping you with some concrete tools and frameworks to use in your own organization.

Who Should Attend: Anyone interested in better understanding how to evaluate and assess the progress and success of their organization’s digital maturity efforts. Public sector leaders, particularly those with accountability for digital transformation, will find particular value in this workshop to support stronger strategy development when it comes to supporting and accelerating digital maturity within their teams and organizations.
