Marie-Ange Gravel, PhD (she/her)

Marie-Ange Gravel is a manager at Environment and Climate Change Canada. She and an interdisciplinary team lead the Government of Canada’s approach to cumulative effects through partnership and collaboration. Their work focuses primarily on providing policy, technical and scientific support to a number of cumulative effects initiatives, including the Open Science and Data Platform. Dr. Gravel has been with Environment and Climate Change Canada since 2014, working on numerous environmental files such as species at risk protection and management, regulatory development and environmental assessments. She has a PhD in Biology from Carleton University, where her research focused on freshwater systems across North America.
